Microsoft will Office Anwendung in Mac App Store bringen

Microsoft denkt derzeit darüber nach die Populäre Office Anwendung in den Mac App Store einzustellen. Unklar ist allerdings noch wie Microsoft mit den strikten Restriktionen des Mac App Stores umgehen wird und wie es sich mit den prozentualen Abgaben pro Verkauf verhält. Bereits zum Start des iPads dachte Microsoft daran Office im App Store anzubieten. Den ersten Schritt Anwendungen auf iOS Geräte zu portieren machte Microsoft ja bereits mit der Veröffentlichung von OneNote.

"It's something we are looking at," Microsoft's Amanda Lefebvre told Mobilized. However, the company said its product is already available in lots of places as well as via the Web–including in a new, free 30-day trial version.

"It's something we haven't ruled out," she said. "We just have to see how that relates to our business."
